Hannah Lunnemann

Research Assistant

Hannah has lived in various places across the globe but calls Clarksville, Tennessee home. She earned her B.S. in Biology at Middle Tennessee State University and joined the lab after graduating in 2021. In her free time, Hannah enjoys whipping up new recipes and spending quality time with her family.

Emily Green

Graduate Student

Emily Green was born in Gruetli Laager, Tennessee. She earned her B.S. in Biology from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, where she researched gene-environment interactions in neurodegenerative disease pathogenesis. Emily joined the Markham Lab in 2022 through the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (IGP). In her free time, Emily is an avid equestrian and enjoys spending time outdoors. Emily investigates interactions of proteins involved in mucosal immunity in bacterially driven colitis, colorectal dysplasia, and tumorigenesis.

Uswah Siddiqui, MBBS

Research Assistant

Uswah completed medical school in 2021 from the Aga Khan University, Pakistan. She moved to Nashville in 2022 and joined the Markham lab. Her goal is to further her medical career by pursuing an Internal Medicine residency in the United States. Beyond her professional pursuits, Uswah finds balance in life by indulging in her passions for watching cricket and playing the flute during her free time.
